A successful first DKOU for Orthoplastics

Orthoplastics has returned from DKOU 2026 following its first time exhibiting at the event, held at CityCube Berlin from 20th to 23rd October.

The four-day exhibition gave the team an opportunity to reconnect with existing customers, meet new contacts and showcase Orthoplastics' manufacturing capabilities and range of medical-grade materials.

Building relationships across the orthopaedic industry

As a major event in the orthopaedic and trauma calendar, DKOU brings together healthcare professionals, manufacturers and suppliers from across the industry. For Orthoplastics, exhibiting for the first time was an opportunity to strengthen its presence in the European market and meet businesses looking for materials and manufacturing support.

Throughout the event, our team welcomed visitors old and new to the stand. It gave us a platform to catch up with existing customers and discuss potential opportunities with new contacts. Looking back on the event, Orthoplastics' Business Development Manager, Simon Bradshaw, commented:

"DKOU was a great event for us, especially as it was our first time exhibiting. It was good to catch up with existing customers, meet new contacts and hear more about what they're working on. We've had some really useful conversations and are looking forward to following up on the opportunities that came out of the show."

These face-to-face conversations help build strong working relationships, allowing customers to discuss their requirements directly with the Orthoplastics team.

Showcasing Orthoplastics' capabilities

DKOU also provided a platform to introduce visitors to Orthoplastics' expertise in medical-grade polyethylene and its wider manufacturing capabilities. Orthoplastics works with medical device manufacturers to supply high-quality materials and components for demanding orthopaedic applications.

Events such as DKOU offer an opportunity to discuss material requirements, manufacturing processes and the challenges customers face when developing orthopaedic devices. They also provide insight into the changing needs of the industry and where Orthoplastics can support existing and prospective customers.

Looking ahead

Orthoplastics would like to thank everyone who visited the stand and looks forward to continuing those conversations.

Next up is SOFCOT 2026, taking place from 11th to 13th November in Cannes, France. The Orthoplastics team will be attending and looks forward to reconnecting with customers and meeting new contacts.

If you're planning to attend SOFCOT, we'd welcome the opportunity to meet and discuss how Orthoplastics can support your requirements.
