LATEST NEWS:
There aren’t many events that get to celebrate their 100th congress, so this year’s SOFCOT is going to be a little different. From 11th to 13th November, the Orthoplastics team will be in Cannes for the 100th Congress of the Société Française de Chirurgie Orthopédique & Traumatologique.
For the first time since 1993, the congress is moving away from Paris, with the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès providing the setting for this year’s event. You’ll find us at Booth 115.
Orthoplastics works with medical device manufacturers around the world, so international events have always been important to us. SOFCOT gives us the opportunity to spend time with the French orthopaedic community, with a number of international scientific societies also taking part in this year’s congress.
For our team, some of the most useful parts of an event often happen between the scheduled sessions. It might be a conversation with a customer we haven’t seen for a while, an introduction to someone new or a discussion that starts with a manufacturing question and goes somewhere unexpected.
Those meetings help us stay close to the companies we work with and understand what they need from us.
John Devine, Managing Director at Orthoplastics, says: “We’ve built relationships with customers in different parts of the world over many years and it’s important that we make time to see people face to face. SOFCOT has always been a good place to do that. With the congress celebrating its 100th edition and welcoming an international audience to Cannes, there should be plenty to talk about this year.”
We’ll be at Booth 115 throughout the congress, where you can meet the Orthoplastics team and find out more about our implantable-grade polymers and manufacturing capabilities.
You don’t need to arrive with a project brief in hand. We’re just as happy to catch up, make an introduction or hear what you’ve been working on.
If you’re going to SOFCOT and would like to meet while we’re there, contact us before the congress. If there’s something in particular you’d like to discuss, let us know, and we’d be happy to find a time that works.
Looking forward to seeing you in Cannes.
