OMTEC 2025: Showcasing Innovation and Our New Materials

In June Orthoplastics proudly returned to OMTEC, the leading event for the orthopaedic manufacturing industry, held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Chicago.

This year’s event was an excellent opportunity to demonstrate how innovation continues to drive everything we do. From our latest product developments to meaningful conversations with customers and partners, OMTEC 2025 provided us with the perfect platform to connect, share, and inspire.

Meaningful Connections with Industry Leaders

Throughout the two-day event, our team welcomed a wide range of visitors to the stand, including OEMs, consultants, suppliers and regulatory specialists. We had insightful discussions about technical challenges, material requirements and the future of orthopaedic design.

Managing Director Rodney Crooks described OMTEC as a real highlight this year. He explained, “OMTEC gave us the perfect platform to showcase our latest materials and speak with people who are genuinely passionate about shaping what comes next.”

These conversations not only helped us share our expertise but also gave us valuable insight into where the industry is heading.

Face-to-Face Makes a Difference

Customer Services Manager Jade Kelly shared how much value she sees in being on-site at OMTEC. “It’s such a valuable experience to meet customers face to face. You get to understand their challenges and expectations on a much deeper level, which helps us support them even better.”

Watch Our New Materials Video

To support the continued growth of our advanced materials range, we’ve launched a new short film highlighting two of our flagship medical polymers: Hostaform® MT®2U06 Acetal and Radel® R-5500 PPSU.

These high-performance materials are trusted in medical settings where strength, precision and sterilisation resistance are essential. The film offers a quick and engaging overview of how both polymers perform in real-world healthcare applications, ranging from surgical tools to durable housings
